It was a blessing to know her even if it was only through the television. I remember watching Nancy in the early days, my kids nearby. I still make Quilts for family. I have always enjoyed Nancy and was fortunate to meet her at one of her events. I have learned so much from watching Sewing with Nancy and continue to watch her programs. My prayers go out for your family for your loss. I began watching sewing with Nancy Saturday mornings with my children. Now retired, still go every year, was sad to see it was cancelled this year. She was such an inspiration about her illness, which she actually never mentioned until the end that I can recall, and a pity party was certainly not her style. Nancy was such a special person in the lives of so many friends and viewers. My mom used to watch her while she was quilting. Natalie lived in Madison, Wisconsin with her husband, Richard. Nancy was such an inspiring person and she continues to do so through Nancy Zieman.com. I lost the vision on the right side of both eyes due to surgery. Im grateful that another book of her courage, faith and love has been written. I came to appreciate Nancy and her gifts as I learned improved techniques. Nancy and I talked several times about writing a second bookto tell the rest of the story.My new book, Nancy Zieman, The Rest of the StoryA Memoir of Faith, Family, and Friends picks up where Seams Unlikely ended, and includes Nancys personal reflections on her life, career, faith, andthemany blessings of family and friendsespecially during her final months. Richard Zieman. I loved going to the sewing weekend and seeing Nancy. I dont remember when I didnt watch Sewing With Nancy. I imagine her teaching the Angels how to sew new gowns. We do not get PBS here so not able to watch Nancys programs but have watch all the ones she would share on her program on the internet. Her legacy is that she continues to be an exceptional teacher. Natalie Sewell (September 15, 1938 July 17, 2018) was an award-winning art quilter who specialized in landscape quilting. She will forever be missed by those whose lives she touched! I grew up watching Nancys shows with my mom on our local PBS station and have many fond memories of how it built our shared love of sewing and helped me improve my sewing skills. Nancy has been a blessing in my life. Her life demonstrates the power and love one person can have on the world, bringing people and communities together for positive change. I sewed garments but was not a quilter. thank you for offering this wonderful give-a-way. Though the instruction part of the shows were wonderful, I so loved the visits with other sewers at the end of her shows. I have followed her shows for years. Nancy was an encouraging person and truly lived the as you are going of scripture. I have always admired and looked up to Nancy. Discovering Nancys Sewing Shows inspired me to get back to,sewing. Viewers purchased products Nancy used Nancy was a wonderful woman who shared her talents every week with all her sewing fans. I have greatly missed her. RIP Nancy!!! I have followed Nancys career from the begining.

How lucky all of us that like to sewing are to have been blessed to have Nancy Zieman and her knowledge cross our paths. Thank you for sharing the rest of Nancys story with us! She had such a peace about her that it made us viewers relax and soak it all in. RIP Nancy <3. What a special gift she shared with us. Nancy was a great inspiration to me. I recorded her quite a few of her shows and enjoy reviewing them. Thank you for continuing her story. Then Ill remember something Nancy said and it all works out. She was an inspiration that is missed. I have most of her books and have begun the Landscaping quilt just recently. Thanks to everyone who works there and to her loving family for making this all possible. I have been watching Sewing with Nancy forever and have a number of her books and items from her catalog. I would love to read more about her personal life. It is so hard for me to realize that she is gone each time I watch the show. I always look forward to watching Sewing with Nancy! It helped me as a new sewer to gain confidence in sewing garments. I knew how to sew but picked up a few tips along the way. I truly admired Nancy for the success she made of her career and the challenges she overcame.
