She was presented in 1974 at the Durham Debutante Cotillion and at the North Carolina Terpsichorean Ball in Raleigh, and is a graduate of Duke University in Durham, NC, where her father, internationally known urologist James Francis Glenn, was professor and chairman of urological surgery at Duke Medical Center.
