Many a Cardassian or other villain has learned that lesson the hard way. Eddington was a perfect lensinto that, the performance was beautifully delivered, and in my opinionhe is one of the most tragic characters of the entire show. If anything I'd argue she had the moral high ground. "I like them in real life, so it's hard to go against them when your character doesn't parallel that. Sorry if this is a repeat topic/popular opinion but I'm rewatching DS9 and Eddington, who was a minor and whatever character on my first viewing, is now standing out to me as one of the most interesting characters with the greatest argument against the Federation/Star Fleet and its philosophies.
